Osher Sotil, hand carving, Torah scroll and cherubim - Torah Scroll and Cherubim An artwork by Osher Sotil Hand-carved This piece was created over the course of nine months, during which extensive work and dedication were invested solely in this artwork. The piece is designed as a puzzle made of wooden segments in various shades, featuring a carving of a Torah scroll and cherubim. At the top are four decorative elements representing the four corners of the earth. On the right side is inscribed ”Ein Sof” (Infinity), on the left ”Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh” (”I Am That I Am”). The upper section includes an ornament made from organic material, and the bottom bears the artist's signature. ”And the cherubim spread out their wings over the place of the Ark, and the cherubim covered the Ark and its poles from above.” (II Chronicles, Chapter 5, Verse 8) Signed (embossed at the bottom) Dimensions: 5 x 176 x 66 cm Crafting techniques: Carving, inlay, and cutting.
