Two Vintage British Tap and Die Sets in Wooden Cases with Large Wrench - A collection of vintage engineering tools comprising two separate tap and die sets housed in their original wooden storage cases, accompanied by a large forged steel tap wrench. The first set, contained in a long rectangular box, features ten hexagonal dies marked with British Standard Whitworth (WHIT) thread sizes including 3/4, 7/8, and 1. The second set, in a smaller square-profile box, contains four circular dies marked with GAS and FRENCH, alongside four corresponding guides in sizes 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and 1. The tools are constructed from steel and cast iron. The wooden cases feature brass hinges and internal fitted dividers. No manufacturer mark is visible on the components or the cases.
