A Vintage Painted Wooden Tool Chest and an Assortment of Hand Tools - This lot comprises a large wooden tool chest with a grey-painted finish, featuring a hinged lid and a removable internal wooden tray with two compartments. The chest contains an assortment of artisan's hand tools and hardware consistent with an early-to-mid 20th-century workshop. Included is a hand-cranked eggbeater style drill with a red-painted drive gear and wooden handles, and a wooden joiner's mallet. The collection features steel auger bits of various sizes. A circular metal component is stamped with the mark Hooley and Abbey. Also present are a yellow folding ruler, brushes, hinges, screws, a window handle, and a steel hex nut and bolt assembly.
