A Large Vintage Glazed Earthenware French Style Confit Pot - A large glazed earthenware vessel produced in the style of traditional French provincial confit pottery. The piece features an ovoid body tapering to a circular foot, a wide flared rim, and two small applied loop handles at the shoulders. The vessel is finished with a uniform, honey-coloured ochre glaze applied to both the interior and exterior surfaces. There are no slip or cobalt blue decorative elements present. No maker's marks, factory stamps, or incised characters are visible on the body or rim. A contemporary paper tag is attached to the rim which reads: 3442.
