A Pair of Blue Carved Ceramic Outdoor Planters with Tulip Decoration - A pair of tapered circular garden planters crafted from heavy stoneware. The exterior of each pot is finished in a speckled cobalt blue glaze featuring a raised relief stylized tulip pattern in a pale greenish-grey tone. The smaller of the two pots is further decorated with a wide metallic brown glazed band around the upper section. Both planters feature broad, flat-topped rims and unglazed interiors revealing a light-coloured, coarse ceramic body. Each vessel is designed with a single drainage hole in the base. The style represents a modern interpretation of Arts and Crafts floral motifs, consistent with contemporary outdoor pottery designs. The items are accompanied by a lot tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms.
