The exterior is finished in a uniform monochrome buff-coloured glaze. The body is decorated with wide vertical fluting or ribbing, rising to a wide, thickened rounded rim. No manufacturer marks are visible on the body or rim; the base is currently inaccessible for inspection. The item is currently filled with soil and contains a live plant.
