A large Chinese provincial style stoneware dragon fish bowl planter - A large stoneware fish bowl or planter of deep ovoid form featuring a broad, out-turned rim. The exterior is finished in a cream-toned glaze and decorated with a hand-painted scrolling dragon in underglaze blue, accented with a single highlight of iron-red glaze to the head. The interior is glazed. No manufacturer marks, reign marks, or impressed stamps are visible on the ceramic body. The item is accompanied by a handwritten paper tag identifying it as a Chinese style fish bowl with a blue underglaze dragon and an auction lot sticker from Liskeard Auction Rooms.
