A White Painted Folding Chair and a Three-Legged Stool - Two pieces of contemporary white-painted furniture comprising a folding chair and a three-legged stool. The folding chair is of wooden X-frame construction with metal bolt fixings and is accompanied by a removable tie-on padded cushion. The cushion is upholstered in light-blue fabric with a printed repeating pattern of beach huts in navy, red, and white. A small fabric tag on the cushion displays a stylised house logo. The low wooden stool features a circular seat and three L-shaped bentwood legs in the modernist style of Alvar Aalto. Both items are finished with an opaque white paint. The chair retains an adhesive lot label numbered 971.
