The frames are made from a dark-stained hardwood featuring wide, multi-stepped and shaped armrests supported by turned spindles. The lower frame is designed with a scrolling, shaped front apron, and the chairs sit on turned bun-style feet. The upholstery is a neutral-toned, textured fabric decorated with a repeating embroidered leaf motif. The chairs feature loose back cushions and semi-fixed seat cushions. A white rectangular auction label for Liskeard Auction Rooms is present on one armrest.
