Mid-20th Century Woven Fibre Storage Ottoman in the Style of Lloyd Loom - A mid-20th century rectangular storage stool or ottoman, constructed in the style of Lloyd Loom. The body features a woven fibre exterior, likely paper-wrapped wire, built upon a wooden frame. The hinged, padded lid is upholstered in a red and pink floral damask fabric. The interior storage compartment is lined with stained hardboard and secured with simple metal hinges. The piece stands on four short, square-section wooden feet and includes a fabric loop handle on the front edge for lifting. No manufacturer marks are present; a lot tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms is attached to the lid.
