Modern Ceremonial Staff with Smoky Quartz Point - A ceremonial or decorative staff featuring a terminal composed of a large, polished hexagonal mineral point. The stone is smoky quartz, characterized by its dark, semi-translucent appearance and visible internal inclusions. This point is mounted within a brass-toned metallic collar which is pierced with multiple five-pointed star motifs. A small metal clip or loop is fixed to the lower portion of the collar. The upper section of the shaft is wrapped in black cordage, which transitions into a plain, turned wooden staff. A paper auction tag for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 624, is attached to the cord wrapping.
