A Collection of Aynsley Fine Bone China in the Pembroke Pattern - A collection of thirteen pieces of fine English bone china by Aynsley, decorated in the Pembroke pattern. The design features vibrant polychrome transfer-printed exotic birds perched among floral sprays, including peonies and bluebells, based on an eighteenth-century Aynsley design. Each piece is finished with a hand-applied gilt line to the rim. The assortment includes a large circular charger with a scalloped edge, a large baluster vase with a flared rim, a square-section vase with a tapered neck, several bud vases in slender, bulbous, and octagonal forms, a footed circular bowl, a square-shaped dish with scalloped edges, a small circular saucer, and a circular lidded trinket box. Pieces are marked to the underside with a green transfer-printed backstamp comprising a crown logo and reading EST. 1775 AYNSLEY MADE IN ENGLAND FINE ENGLISH BONE CHINA PEMBROKE REPRODUCTION OF AN EIGHTEENTH CENTURY AYNSLEY DESIGN.
