An Assortment of Vintage Hand Tools and Workshop Equipment including a Salmen's Sharpening Stone - A collection of vintage utility and hand tools primarily of British origin, housed in a cardboard fruit crate. The group includes a sharpening stone set within a dark wood cradle; the side of the wooden base features an impressed rectangular stamp reading SALMEN'S LONDON. Also present is a red-enameled metal thumb-pump oiler with a flexible translucent spout and a textured thumb lever. Metalworking tools include a pair of compound-action aviation snips with red plastic-coated handles and a metal safety catch. The collection further comprises a small wooden joiner's mallet with a rectangular head and turned handle, a rubber-headed mallet, and several wood chisels with turned wooden handles. A metal G-clamp, a wooden-handled awl or scribe, and a large metal scraper with a perforated handle are also included in the lot.
