The structure is reinforced with horizontal flat iron bands secured with screws. The unit is supported by three decorative scrolling wrought iron legs. The top of the flue is fitted with a matching steel mesh spark arrestor. A small rectangular adhesive label is present on the chimney flue, though the text is illegible due to extensive weathering and fading.
