Potted Gunnera Plant with Fibrous Crown - A potted specimen of a Gunnera plant, consistent with the characteristics of Gunnera manicata or Gunnera tinctoria. The plant features a prominent, large, reddish-brown fibrous crown at the base, from which multiple thick succulent stems emerge. These stems are light green in colour and covered in numerous small, pale green protrusions or prickles. The foliage consists of large, palmately lobed green leaves with serrated margins and visible veining. The specimen is set into a black plastic nursery bag with visible root structures protruding from the base. A portion of one stem has been cleanly pruned, revealing a light-coloured internal pith.
