A RUSSIAN CHERKSESSKA WITH KORNILOV REG. SHOULDER BOARDS
The cherkesska of black cloth with white trim around the edges and shoulder boards of an officer of the Kornilov Division. On the sleeve is a "V" patch with white, blue, and red stripes. On the chest 20 gasyri, the metal parts are made of silver and decorated in niello. Belt, for use with a shashka. Complete with original leather and silver mounts, engraved and nielloed. Silver mounts are decorated with traditional Caucasian floral decor. Great set in good collectible condition.
