A MEISSEN PORCELAIN FIGURE OF HERCULES, 18TH C
The sculptural group depicts Hercules wearing the lion's skin and pressing a bull to the ground with his knee. The oval pedestal is decorated with gilding. Modeled by J.J. Kändler. Marked on the bottom with Meissen's crossed swords in underglaze blue and an incised number 115. Mid 19th century.
Dimensions: H: 5 1/2 in., (14 cm.)
Condition: Very good, no chips or cracks.
