A RUSSIAN PORCLELAIN FLOWR POT BY POPOV, 19TH CEN.
A Russian porcelain flower pot with a removable base by Popov Porcelain Manufacturer. The top and bottom rims are gilded. Beautiful scenery is depicted on the front side in a cartouch: a young gentleman stays nearby the ruins of what has previously been a palace or a church. A floral motif is painted on the back of the pot.Markings on the verso: '#1' and 'AP' (Cyrillic letters).
Dimensions: H: 4 7/8 in., (12.4 cm.)
Condition: Very good with gilding slightly faded.
