A RUSSIAN THREE-TIER RUBY GLASS CENTERPIECE, 19TH CEN. - Russian, 19th-century three-tiered gueridon centerpiece comprising three round ruby glass plates and the gilded bronze stand. At the base, it is raised on three feet modeled as figurines of winged sphinxes and richly decorated with relief Neoclassical overlays. Circa 1820. Dimensions: H: 17 1/2 in., (44.5 cm.) Condition: Very good overall, small crack on the top class charger.
