A FRENCH BRONZE FEMALE FIGURE BY LOUIS CARRIER-BELLEUSE - Oriental gilt bronze sculptural group ”La Charmeuse de Pantheres” or ”The Panther Charmer” by Louis - Robert Carrier-Belleuse (French, 1848 - 1913). The figure represents a young nude woman sitting on a marble half-column and playing with the stem of a rose with two panthers. Signed on the edge of the drapery.19th century period. Dimensions: H: 28 1/4 in., (72cm.) Condition: Very good with a fine patina throughout.
