Russian Pan-Slavic style parcel-gilt silver tankard. The front features a hand engraved inscription: 'Tir Federal/ a/ Fribourg/ 1881/ Moscou' within an elaborate Pan-Slavic architectural ornament, the flared rim inscribed in Russian 'Good Brotherhood is Better than Wealth'.
The hinged lid with a knob finial on top. Hallmarks: 84 Russian silver standard, Moscow city mark, 'IS' in Cyrillic, assay mark 'A.K.' beneath 1880.

Condition: Loss of gilding in a few scattered spots. Minor insignificant scratching to the body and inner side of the lid associated with age. Otherwise in very good condition.
