A RUSSIAN IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY ALEXANDRA FEDOROVNA EASTER EGG, 19TH CEN.
A Russian porcelain Imperial presentation Easter egg, Imperial Porcelain Factory, Saint Petersburg. The plain white egg is embellished with a gilt cipher of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna: ‘АФ’ beneath the Imperial crown. The upper aperture has remnants of gilding and a purple and brown ribbon.
