A PAIR OF FRENCH SEVRES-STYLE NAPOLEONIC GILT-BRONZE MOUNTED VASES, 19TH CEN
Pair of Sevres-style porcelain vases. Both vases are delicately gilded and have two hand-painted cartouches: the front one depicting scenes of Napoleon on the battlefield, and the one on the reverse depicting castles in the mountains mounted on gilt-bronze bases. Marked "S" for Sevres Porcelain Factory and "Chateau des Tuileries" underglaze and signed "E. Grisard".
