A RUSSIAN SILVER AND NIELLO PURSE, 19TH CENTURY - A small 19th-century silver and niello purse with an overlapping clasp and chain. The surfaces are decorated with niello enamel depicting foliage motifs. The front of the purse is enameled with the Cyrillic word ”Кавказъ” (Caucasus). Hallmark: Kokoshnik 84 silver mark (possibly Lev Fridrikhovitch Oleks). Mark is stamped on both sides of the neck of the purse. Russia - 19th Century Please make all inquiries before bidding.
