A MID VICTORIAN ENGLISH CUT-CRYSTAL AND SILVER-PLATED NEOCLASSICAL TAZZA, CA. 1860

Neoclassical cut crystal tazza mounted to a silver plated base adorned with chased scrolls and part fluted detail. The base is further adorned with relief mask heads. Winged mythical busts of griffins connect the cylindrical body to the base. The cylindrical body is adorned with neoclassical relief depicting a multi-figure scene. Struck with the number '14' and the makers mark under the base.

Presumably created by Elkington, Mason & Co., mid-Victorian period, circa 1860.
