A RUSSIAN SILVER CHINOISERIE TEA CADDY WITH SCENES FROM LIFE, 1886
A silver tea caddy which has been decoratively chased on each of its 4 sides with scenes of life in China, each scene being framed by intricate architectural motifs in Chinese style. The caddy is comprised of 3 pieces, the container, the lid, and a framed cork. Each piece is stamped with the 'AA' maker's mark and '84' silver standard, with the caddy also bearing the 'A.P / 1886' assay mark and St. George Moscow mark.
