A PAIR OF FRENCH GILT-BRONZE EWERS, 19TH CEN.
A pair of French Neoclassical gilt bronze ewers (possibly from the period of Napoleon III) presented upon square slate bases. Long stylized handles topped with curling acanthus and the figure of a swan head. The body is ovular in shape with a thin neck leading to the spout, which consists of a decorative mask head.

Condition: The pair is in very good condition overall, with a nice bronze patina, some slight scratches to surface. Marble bases with some small chips.
