AN EARLY FRENCH GILT-BRONZE LION MANTLE CLOCK WITH EAGLE, 19TH CEN. - This is a French Empire mantel clock from the early 19th century. The white and red marble base is garnished with ormolu decorations and raised upon six circular feet. The round black and white clock face with Roman numerals, gilt arms, and figurative handles is prominently placed in the center. It is flanked by two gilt bronze lions and topped with an eagle figurine. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C.
