A RUSSIAN PORCELAIN PLATE FROM THE ROPSHINSKY SERVICE, AII - Imperial Porcelain Factory, Saint Petersburg, 1825-55. From the reign of Tsar Alexander II of Russia (1855-81). The plate is decorated with a gilt Imperial double-headed Eagle holding a torch and laurel wreath. Green manufactory mark AII is on the verso. Provenance: Private collection, New York.
