A LARGE VIENNA BRONZE SCULPTURE OF EGYPTIAN WOMAN WITH PITCHER.
A Franz Xavier Bergmann polychrome, cold-painted bronze sculpture from the Viennese foundry in Austria. The sculpture depicts an Egyptian woman in a semi-dressed style akin to Austrian Art Nouveau. She's presented on a rocky pedestal and is carrying a water pitcher on her head. On the back of the rock pedestal is the Bergmann foundry stamp ('B' in a vase), the number '3065', and the German word 'Geschützt.' (copyrighted).
