A LARGE BRONZE 'WOMAN IN A FEATHER HAT', GEORGES VAN DER STRAETEN, 19TH CEN. - A large bronze entitled 'Woman in a Feather Hat' by the Belgian sculptor George Van Der Straeten (1856-1941), a prolific Belle Epoque artist and former pupil of Jef Lambeaux (1852-1908). Signed by the artist at the base and stamped with the foundry mark of La Societe des Bronzes de Paris. Paris, France, 19th century. Dimensions: H: 25 in., (63.5 cm.)
