A PAIR OF LARGE BARBEDIENNE BRONZE VASES, FRANCE, 19TH CEN. - Pair of bronze vases created by France’s leading bronze manufactory — Barbedienne. The Barbedienne Foundry was founded by Ferdinand Barbedienne in 1838. One of the vases depicts a dancing muse and another a young man drinking wine. Both vases are additionally decorated with floral motifs and mounted on marble bases. Dimensions: H: 21 1/2 in., (54.5 cm.) Please make all inquiries before bidding. Bottom parts of the marble plinth with some slight chips.
