A JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT, 19TH CENTURY - Japanese woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada (1786-1865) titled ”Four actors in the roles of Yamanaka Shikanosuke, Izutsu Onnanosuke, (?) Densuke, Izumo-ya Okuni”, a right-hand panel of triptych 'Seven townsmen visiting the courtesan Takao'. Matted, housed in a frame. Utagawa Kunisada was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist. He is considered the most popular and commercially successful designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints of his time. Dimensions: 14 x 10 in., (35.5 x 25.5 cm.) Please make all inquiries before bidding.
