1769 AN ACCOUNT OF KING'S COLLEGE CHAPEL IN CAMBRIDGE, ENGLAND, HENRY MALDEN - 'An Account of King's College Chapel, In Cambridge' written by Henry Malden, a former Chapel Clerk, and Thomas James, a scholar and antiquarian, compiles the history of King's College Chapel from its founding under Henry VI up to the time of the authors. Included in the text is a detailed description of the architecture of the chapel, along with engraved views and floor plans, as well descriptions of every stained-glass window and their accompanying Bible verses. Throughout the book are many interesting historical anecdotes, as well as lists of important people who attended or worked at the chapel, and a brief biography of King Henry VI.
