A RARE PHOTO ALBUM OF KAISER WILHELM VISITING AN ORPHANAGE - This photo album is a collection of images documenting Kaiser Wilhelm visiting the Kaiser Wilhelm Children's Home, a Wilhelm-sponsored orphanage located in Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf, Germany. The album shows several depictions of the Kaiser, along with the Imperial family and other officials, greeting children, touring the facility, and attending events such as the Opening Ceremonies. Large group photos and aspects of the life of the workers and children are also depicted, including a visit to the nearby beach. In addition to the album there is a Commemoration Sheet signed by Hermann von Stein, the German minister of war, on January 15, 1917. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
