A CASED PAIR OF OFFICER'S PERCUSSION PISTOLS SIGNED "PERIN-LEPAGE À POITIERS", FRANCE
The case contains a pair of officer's percussion pistols signed "PERIN-LEPAGE à POITIERS", walnut stocks, iron fittings, octagonal barrels slightly blundered with fine "hair" rifling, front plates engraved "PERIN-LEPAGE à POITIERS", cut-iron fittings, oval cap, checkered grips decorated with a carved frieze near the caps, L: 34 cm, barrels: 19 cm, with accessories, brass powder flask, cleaning rod, screwdriver, mallet, round boxwood boxes containing lead bullets, all in a crimson velvet-covered wooden case.
