On the middle panels of the front and back covers is the Supralibros of Johannes V. Krug (1555 or 1556 - 1613), abbot of the Benedictine monastery in Munsterschwarzach from 1598 to 1613. It shows Saint Felicitas of Rome with a sword and the heads of her seven beheaded sons. Below is Johannes V. Krug's coat of arms: a jug with two handles from which three roses grow. The middle panels are framed with the inscription ”Johan Kruch Apt Zu Munsterschwartzach 1600”. On the title page is Chappelet's magnificent unicorn printer's mark. Cover slightly worn.
