A NYMPHENBURG PORCELAIN 'INDIANERIN' FIGURINE, GERMANY, EARLY 20TH CEN. - A fine white-glaze porcelain figurine in Art Nouveau style depicting an 'Indianerin' or Native American Woman, produced by the Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory in Bavaria, Germany. The semi-nude woman, holding a flute in her hand, is leaned against a bare sapling from which is hung a bundle of sticks. The top of the base bears the impressed Bavarian Shield mark, while the underside is stamped with the Nymphenburg maker's mark in addition to be affixed with some old labels.
