AN ENGRAVED TIBETAN IRON PEN CASE, 17TH C. - Tibetan cylindrical pen case made of forged iron. It is decorated with lotus-bud finials at either end, chased and elaborately engraved with scrolling foliage all over the surface. It could be that this pen case was originally gilded.
