A MIYAMOTO JAPANESE SILVER VASE WITH MON ROYAL SEAL, MEIJI PERIOD - A fine silver vase by Miyamoto Shoko, silversmith to the Imperial family, with the gold-washed Imperial Mon or Chrysanthemum Seal affixed to the neck. The Mon is for the Former Princely House of Kuni, Meiji Period. The body of the vase is surrounded by a ring of chased chrysanthemums on a leafy vine. The piece is stamped with the Miyamoto mark on the verso and the mark for 925/1000 silver purity. Weight: 25 oz., (708.7 g.) Please make all inquiries before bidding.
