PETERSBURG WATERCOLOR PAINTING - Karl Eduardovich Geftler or Hefftler (Reval, 1853 - St. Petersburg, 1918) studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts, especially watercolor painter, and produced an album of views of Russian state buildings for Tsar Alexander II.
