A PAIR OF FRENCH SEVRES STYLE PORCELAIN VASES WITH FEMALE PORTRAITS, 19TH C. - A pair of French Louis XV Sevres style porcelain vases painted with detailed portraits of female courtiers on gilt sections set within a burgundy ground and surrounded by elaborate foliate designs. Each vase is set atop a plinth guarded by 3 bisque lions holding blue and gilt shields with Greek inspired imagery. France, 19th Century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
