A FERVILLE-SUAN BRONZE FIGURE OF A CHASSEUR WITH RABBIT
A Charles-Georges Ferville-Suan (1847-1925), French bronze figure depicting a chasseur (hunter) holding up a rabbit in one hand and balancing his rifle in the other. The figure is presented atop a square bronze base adorned with a plaque denoting title and artist: 'Chasseur/Par Ferville-Suan (Mne au Salon)'. The artist's signature is cast on the edge of the base behind the figure.
