AN INDO-PERSIAN MINIATURE OF RELAXING NOBLEMEN, C. 19TH CENTURY - An Indo-Persian painted miniature depicting a group of noblemen relaxing on a rug in the shade of a large umbrella, one playing a tambourine, some others conversing. One appears to be more important than the rest, seated on a decorated throne with an advisor to his left and a scribe to his right. The whole piece is surrounded by floral decoration and is kept within an old wooden frame. Iran, 19th century. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C.
