A SMALL CAUCASIAN DAGGER WITH SILVER AND NIELLO MOUNTS, 19TH C. - A miniature Caucasian kindjal dagger with a curved, double fullered blade set into a handle of horn with intricately decorated silver and niello mounts in typical Caucasian style. The silver hilt is hallmarked with the Russian 84 silver standard and the 'AA' mark. The dagger is kept within a well-fitting stitched leather sheath with a belt loop. Russian Caucasus, 19th century.
