AN 18TH CENTURY ITALIAN DAGGER WITH SPIRAL GRIP AND CHASED DECORATION - An 18th century Italian dagger with an interesting spiraling hilt inlaid with a series of copper and iron rings between the pommel and the blade. The stem connecting the tang to the blade is in a baluster style, appearing to be lathe turned. The forte is decorated with simple chased lines and a horn-like shape. Italy, 18th century.
