A PAIR OF INDO-PERSIAN CHASED STEEL SPEAR BUTTS, 18TH OR 19TH CENTURY - A pair of Indo-Persian steel spear butts decorated with chased patterns and beveling, as well as bands of inlaid brass along its length. Spear butts would have been attached to the reverse end of a spear, acting as a counterbalance as well as a spike with which to plant the spear for better use against cavalry.
