AN INDONESIAN KRIS DAGGER WITH SCABBARD AND CARRYING POUCH - Long kris from Sumatra, called “Keris panjang”. Light wooden sheath with boat-shaped upper part with one side highly pointed. The end of the sheath is dark and designed as a stylized boat when viewed from the front. The hilt is lightly curved with a flower carved at the end as the pommel. The ferrule is cup-shaped with black background and silver colored thread designing flower patterns. Long straight blade in pamor steel. Kris with its woven bag.
