A WW2 GERMAN CLOSE COMBAT CLASP BADGE IN SILVER - The WW2 Close Combat Clasp in Silver (Nahkampfspange) was awarded to members of the German military for participation in hand-to-hand fighting for 25 close-quarters combat actions. Constructed of silvered zinc with a centerpiece consisting of the eagle and swastika national emblem surmounting a crossed bayonet and hand grenade, each side splayed with oak leaves and acorns.
