A CHINESE PORCELAIN LIDDED JUG, 19TH CENTURY - A rare Chinese export porcelain lidded cider jar, featuring a barrel-shaped body painted with a blue landscape decoration that depicts islands, pagoda castles, and other architectural forms. Entwined side handle with gilt foliate embellishments. The verso of the lid has an old inventory number in black ink. Bears an inventory number and Shreve, Crump & Low Co.
